Preserve & Protect Your Vote

1.      Don’t know where to vote on Election Day? Click here for list of Montana county election office phone numbers. Polls are open Tuesday from 7am to 8pm.

2.      Montanans can still vote early at your county election offices until noon on Monday, November 1.

3.      If you received an early vote ballot and haven’t yet returned it, you can drop your ballot off at your county election office on Monday, November 1.

4.      If you requested an absentee ballot and haven’t received it yet, you can still vote early at your county election office up until noon on Monday, November 1, or at your normal polling place on Tuesday, November 2. You’ll be asked to sign a statement affirming that you didn’t get your early ballot, and then you’ll be allowed to vote.

5.      If you have a problem voting early or at the polls on Election Day – or if you see voting irregularities or problems that disenfranchise voters – call Bill Lombard, DNC state director immediately. Bill can be reached by calling 406-442-9520 or 406-459-8860.

It’s Time For A New Montana

It’s time for a new Montana. A Montana where we work together to create a brighter future for all Montanans. A Montana where all citizens have hope and opportunity. A Montana where positive ideas are given a fair shake and a fair hearing. A Montana where petty bickering is set aside so we can move Montana forward. A Montana where leaders do the right thing for our seniors, students, working families, small businesses, neighbors and friends in need.

We’re proud of that Democrats have offered common sense ideas for a better Montana. It’s unfortunate that Bob Brown and his friends aren’t willing to let go of the negative politics of the past:

·        “The word nonpartisan is not in my vocabulary.” – Sen. Conrad Burns (R-Montana), quoted in the Billings Gazette, 10/26/04

·        “I remember feeling almost hysterical,” says Thielman, who pleaded with Brown: “Hey, I know it’s not the right thing to do, but you’ve gotta win, and the right thing is that you win.” – Bob Brown’s campaign manager, Jason Thielman, quoted in the Missoula Independent, 10/21/04

Bob Brown Buddy Ad Backfires

** New Information On Brown Supporters **

Recently, we told you about a new Republican Governor Association attack ad against Brian Schweitzer that’s flooded with deliberate lies about Brian’s business record and includes no specific allegations. The ad features Bruce Tutvedt, a relative, business partner and donor of Bob Brown and Martz appointee to the Flathead Basin Commission; Bonnie Donsbach, the relative of a top GOP operative; and Gary Havens, a scofflaw with numerous court judgments against him (see fact sheet).
