Support a Full Investigation of 2004 Election Problems
Write Congress Today
Tell your U.S. Senators and Representative to support requests for an investigation of 2004 election irregularities by the General Accountability Office, Congress' independent and nonpartisan investigative arm.
The true measure of our democratic elections is whether every eligible voter is able to cast a ballot that counts. Though the candidates have declared victory or conceded defeat, it's clear that many Americans in the 2004 election were denied their right to vote. Election Protection volunteers documented thousands of voting problems on November 2 and, in many cases, provided same-day solutions to voters at the polls. Now, we must gather evidence and testimony that will help us root out the underlying causes of these problems and find answers to them.
Congress has the power to request an investigation by the General Accountability Office. Send a letter to your members of Congress urging them to join with their colleagues in demanding a full investigation of election irregularities in the 2004 election.
